When eleven counties lost 911.
After Hurricane Helene knocked out 911 communications across eleven Georgia counties, the state put out a call for volunteers. Our owner and one of our technicians drove down and started building go-kits: two phones, a switch, and a cellular router to a case, some paired with satellite. Each one was programmed on site. The kits went out downrange by vehicle and by helicopter, and dispatchers got their phones back.
The same cellular and satellite failover can sit in your building, ready for the day your internet goes down.
